Are you good at numbers... in Spanish? Well, despite how good you are at figures, amounts, money, measures and any other area where numbers are involved, let´s review them quickly.
We´ll start with the easiest and most basic ones:
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
CERO...UNO...DOS...TRES... CUATRO...CINCO
6, 7, 8, 9, 10
SEIS...SIETE...OCHO... NUEVE... DIEZ
Got them? Piece of cake? Well alright, here´s another set with longer names:
11 ONCE 12 DOCE 13 TRECE 14 CATORCE 15 QUINCE
16 DIECISEIS 17 DIECISIETE 18 DIECIOCHO 19 DIECINUEVE
And from then on, it gets easier! Just add any of the following numbers to the basic ones we saw first.
20 VEINTE 30 TREINTA 40 CUARENTA 50 CINCUENTA
60 SESENTA 70 SETENTA 80 OCHENTA 90 NOVENTA 100 CIEN
60 SESENTA 70 SETENTA 80 OCHENTA 90 NOVENTA 100 CIEN
e.g. 20 (VEINTE) + Y + 2 (DOS) = 22 VEINTIDOS
e.g. 142 = CIENTO CUARENTA Y DOS
Fácil!
